I started my photography business about two years ago but really didn’t start pursuing it full force until October 2019 so needless to say when someone from my hometown reached out and wanted me as their photographer when there were plenty of choices and options closer to home… I was so floored, humbled and so incredibly thankful. I literally remember looking over at my Bry and saying, “someone wants me to photograph their wedding! Like travel to MN and take their photos, for their wedding!!” Now granted, I had photographed a few other friend’s weddings but this was the official first wedding I booked through my official business.

Since then we’ve booked an engagement session, wedding and even took some sweet time to capture their sweet new pup Louie! The lighting for their engagement session has gorgeous lighting but the temperature was COLD! Like it was 15 degrees – AKA COLD AF. Chelsey and Lance were serious troopers with the weather and warmed up in between shots!

These two lovebirds met in college and since then have become fur parents to two beautiful babes, bought a house, got engaged and are now planning a whole freaking future together.

T-minus 71 days till they tie the night and say “I do!” Needless to say I am over the moon excited for these two!
